Fall Foliage

It's been a great fall. The mornings have been nice and cool and the days have been pretty mild and dry so the leaves around here have been gorgeous.

We took a short drive on Saturday through the Morgan Monroe State Forest and also visited Melton's Apple Orchard off the old highway. They had run out of cider by the time we got there, but we bought a freshly made caramel apple for Aunt Steph who was hanging out with us over the weekend and a pumpkin in preparation for Halloween.

    Wow, the view across the lake is beautiful. I like the picture of Keegan exploring the texture of the tree bark.
