Keegan watched all the different animals he'd never seen before with wonder. He'd point at them and yell "Guh-guh! Guh-guh!" For those of you who might be scratching your heads in confusion, background story - - we have a miniature dachshund named JJ and when Keegan started babbling, one of the first words he ever said was "Guh-guh! Guh-guh!", referring to JJ. Ever since then, basically any 4 or 2-legged, furry or not furry, non-human like creature is enthusiastically called a "Guh-Guh!".
Keegan was fascinated with almost all of the animals, except for the walrus, who he didn't like so much because it came way too close to the glass for his liking. Despite the heat and the encounter with the walrus, we had a great time. There were a whole lot of "Guh-guhs" at the zoo last weekend and if you've never seen one before, you should check them out.
