We rented a house in Redington Beach whose back door was just a few steps away from the water. Keegan loved the pool, but it took him awhile to get used to the sand and surf. His way of getting used to it included eating the sand and drinking the salty ocean water!
On one of the days, we went on an afternoon excursion to Tarpon Springs which was established largely by Greek immigrants who developed the area's sponge-diving industry. We had lunch at a great Greek restaurant with yummy baklava, walked around some of the shops and Keegan enjoyed sharing some coconut ice cream with Uncle Jun.

We also made a visit to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home to Winter, a dolphin who lost her tail in a crab trap and was rescued and rehabilitated by the aquarium.
Later in the week, we found Keegan’s restaurant namesake - Keegan’s Seafood Grille - as featured on the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives with Guy Fieri.

Hmmm...What Should I Order?

In addition to eating, we spent the days lounging in the pool...

...playing in the sand and water...

...fishing...

...chillaxin'...

...and hanging out with cousin Renne, aunt Steph, Grandma, and the rest of the family.

I think Keegan’s favorite part of the house though was the Wurlitzer Jukebox.

Groovin' To The Music with Uncle Jun (sorry it's sideways - don't have a video editor!)
Keegan developed a little bit of a heat rash as the week went on so our last day on the beach ended like this:
But all in all, we had a great time and look forward to next year!
