Hide & Seek

Keegan has been into playing Hide & Seek lately. He especially likes to play when Matt is getting home from work. Keegan hears the garage door opening, he abruptly stops whatever he is doing, looks at me with excitement in his eyes and says, "Hide! Mommy, I'm going to hide!" And off he goes.

The first few times, Matt would come into the house, and loudly ask, "Is Keegan in the closet?" or "Is Keegan under the bed?" or "Is Keegan in (insert location)?" To which Keegan would reply from wherever he was hiding, "No!" With some practice under his belt though, he's been getting better at hiding a little more quietly.

Here are a few of the places he's been hiding.

If he can't see you, you can't see him!

  1. Oh yes, the no-see-'em stage. I have a strong childhood memory of playing hide and go seek with some kids. I must have just gotten beyond this stage. But some of the other kids hadn't. I remember telling my mom it was weird that they thought they were hidden.
