Big Boy Bed

We decided it was time to make the transition so Keegan is sleeping in a regular bed for the first time tonight.

He has been sleeping in a cot at day care for a long time now and he has slept in a bed by himself several times when we have stayed in hotels and has done just fine. I wasn't sure how receptive he would be with the changeover from crib to bed though, because he has been going through a phase for the past few weeks where if we refer to him as a big boy, he will reply, "No, I'm a baby." If we reply back regarding something that he likes to do such as "Okay, well then, babies don't eat cupcakes" or "Okay, I guess you can't squeeze the toothpaste onto your toothbrush", he quickly changes his tune and states, "No, I'm a BIG boy!". (So, of course, it's only when it suits him).

Matt initially set the bed up in the basement this afternoon to pique his curiosity... 

Hmmm...this bed is comfy

Then, we set it up in his room and he was pretty excited.
